The Wicked West II

Post by ToddLivingston » Thu May 11, 2006 8:24 pm

Due out in September (and fingers crossed, will have preview copies at D*C) Over 160 pages of western horror & oddly several stories involving necrophilia. This time joining Tinnell, Vokes and me, you may recognize some other contributors to the book: Oeming, Castillo, Baron, Moreno, Hawthorne, Farritor, Keating, Wegener, Fraim Bros., Woodall....that's all I can remember after a few glasses of scotch.

Here's the cover by Neil V, colored by Keating.

Looks awesome; I love the Gone with the Wind nod.

I'll keep my peepers peeled for it - way to go Todd!

And that's just from the outside. No 2 stories in this book look alike or even have the same vibe. It started out with Bob and I having 2 different stories we wanted to tell. But Neil couldn't draw them both, so I enlisted another artist. Then other writers and artists wanted to participate. The result is pretty astounding. No one talked with one another about their stories - and as I mentioned - strangely there are several involving sex with corpses. Go figure.

So we thought the GWTW cover motif would be rawk!

Thanks for the kind words!
